Aquí dejo una entrevista para la tele de Kansai del pasado mes de septiembre con Koichi durante la promoción de su Shock en Osaka.
El programa es el Marco Porori en el que ya estuvo de invitado Koichi varias veces en los últimos años. Es una pequeña entrevista dentro de un bus, contando alguna anécdota y suele ser divertida.

The programme is Marco Porori which has had Koichi as guest several times in the last years. It's a short interview inside a bus, telling some anecdotes and it use to be fun.

El pasado 9 de julio falleció JOHNNY KITAGAWA, el presidente y fundador de la Johnny's & Associates Inc. en 1962.
La leyenda dice que un día Johnny iba caminando por el parque Yoyogi en el centro de Tokio, cuando oyó cantar a un grupo de chicos, los relutó y fundó la compañía.
Desde el comienzo la compañía lanzó sólo artistas masculinos, comenzando con The Johnnies y Four Leaves en los 60 hasta SMAP en los 80 o V6, Tokio y KinKi Kids en los 90, Arashi, KATTUN, Kanjani8, Hey! Say! JUMP en la década del 2000 o King & Prince últimamente, entre muchos otros grupos  y solistas también como Kondo Masahiko y Hiromi Go.
Una compañía que ha dominado la industria del entretenimiento en Japón desde su creación y cuyo éxito yace en gran medida en la la estrategia de una gran presencia de sus artistas en la televisón y de sus trabajos en muchas áreas: canción, programas de entretenimiento, cine, musicales, etc.
Cuando alguien le preguntó cúal era el secreto de su éxito Johnny contestó: "El trabajo duro, simplemente".
En sus últimos días estuvo rodeado por algunos de los artistas más veteranos de la compañía a los que él consideraba sus 'hijos' y con los que rememoró tiempos pasados mientras sonaban sus canciones de fondo. D.E.P.


On July 9th, JOHNNY KITAGAWA the president and founder of Johnny's & Associates Inc. in 1962, passed away.
Legend says that one day Johnny was walking through Yoyogi Park in central Tokyo, when he heard a group of young men singing, he recruited them and founded the agency.
From the beginning the agency only worked with male artists, starting with The Johnnies and Four Leaves in the 60s to SMAP in the 80s or V6, Tokyo and KinKi Kids in the 90s, Arashi, KATTUN, Kanjani8, Hey! Say! JUMP in the 2000s or King & Prince lately, among many other groups and soloists also like Kondo Masahiko and Hiromi Go.
